John Henderson
John is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor gaining Registration in 1978. John spent the first twenty-four years of his career as a Public Servant with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and its predecessors the Department of Survey and Land Information and the Department of Lands and Survey. During this time John fulfilled the roles of Staff Surveyor, Senior Surveyor, Research Officer, Project Manager (Auckland LIS) and Principle Advisor (Automation). John worked on the early LINZ automation projects towards the implementation of Landonline. Since 1998 John has worked within the private sector, initially with multi-discipline consultancy companies and more recently as a sole practitioner.
John serves as the principal of the company, providing Surveying Services and Consultancy to the greater Auckland area and Waiheke.
